Victor Bennett Rothschild: He was the son of Alexander Z. Rothschild and Jennie Bennett. 

Notable Events: Victor served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during World War II and later owned and operated businesses in Los Angeles. He was married to actress Vera-Ellen, and they had a daughter, Victoria Ellen, who tragically died in infancy.

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on February 21, 2013 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Raymond. Beloved mother of Jim (Donna), Rodney (Marie) and Sharon Oliver (Alvin-deceased). Cherished grandma of Robin, Jamie, Derek, Jordon, Nick (Dr Sydney N Bennett) and Arlena, she also had 6 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Caroline (nee Aultman), sisters; Ada, Leila and Evelyn and her brothers; Samuel, Everet “Dutch”, Louis and Eugene. She was a Life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion Br.445 Callander.  Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home – Whipsering Pines- Callander ( 81 Lansdowne St. ) on Thursday from 10am till time of service in the chapel at 12 pm.
